ReNew Innovation
A system in which textiles, fabrics, and leathers are kept at their highest value during their primary use, and return through new sustainable, and recyclable forms without ever being lost as waste, thus closing the cycle.
Denim
Reuses Waste
Matsos® have taken a bold step by merging two apparently separate but intimately connected sectors: fashion and perfumery.

We challenged conventional boundaries by transforming the waste of one of the world's most polluting industries into extraordinary, high-quality closures for perfumery. In doing so, we bring together two interrelated industries.

Matsos® uses denim waste, from the fashion industry, we collect, treat, and transform it.
Leather + Cork
Reduce, reuse, and recycle
Our passion for responsible luxury is evident in every detail. We work closely with leading sustainable fashion brands and committed designers.
Together, we breathe new life into these products in harmony with the environment. Our Closures not only symbolize differentiation and distinction but also serve as a tangible testimony to a more sustainable and conscious future.
We use leather waste and cork waste and join them together, transforming them into wonderful stoppers, closures, and much more.
Leather
Reuses Waste
Matsos® uses leather waste from the fashion industry, we collect it, treat it, and transform it.
Leather is a very versatile material and can be combined with different materials, such as cork or wood waste.
Each cap we create is a masterpiece that tells a unique story. Made from recycled materials such as textiles, leather, wood, and cork, these caps represent a true commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. Every time you choose our closures, you help close the loop on fashion, and all other industries to reduce waste, and protect our precious planet.
Cork
we reuse cork
Cork is obtained from the bark of the cork oak Quercus suber, this tree found mainly in the western Mediterranean.
It is of cyclic extraction, this extraction of the cork allows a healthy growth of the cork oak throughout its life, in which it is subjected to about 14-16 extractions of quality.
However, at Matsos® we reuse cork left over from different industries.

Cork has unique innate characteristics: resistant, lightweight, thermal and acoustic insulation, impermeable to liquids, elastic, compressible, fireproof and hypoallergenic, and 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable.

An important part of the cork industry is located in Spain (especially in Andalucia and southern Extremadura), where about 30% of the w production is produced.
Reduce, reuse, recycle is a sustainable approach to managing waste and conserving natural resources. It involves reducing the amount of waste we produce, reusing items whenever possible, and recycling materials to make new products.
